This journal aims to provide its readers with a swift, yet complete, current awareness service. This is achieved both by the scope and
structure of the journal, key features of which are:
• Careful selection of relevant abstracts (and other bibliographic data)
from the latest issues of 4,000 leading international biomedical journals.
• The arrangement, within each issue, of abstracts
into separate chapters devoted to a specific topic. The journal covers both clinical chemistry and general biochemistry and includes
analytical methods, chemical function tests, enzyme assay, enzyme mode of action studies, biochemical roles in disease, metabolic biochemistry,
nutritional analysis and molecular transport. The routine use of assays, microbial biochemistry, plant biochemistry, clinical nutrition
and molecular biology (unless biochemical aspects are discussed) are excluded from the coverage.
• Detailed author and keyword
indexes to allow the reader to locate items of special interest.
